Our Pastor
Pastor Bill Payne, PhD, is an elder in the Global Methodist Church, a native Floridian, and a retired Navy Chaplain (2012). As a long-time professor at Ashland Theological Seminary, he has published many academic books and scholarly articles on Methodist history, global Christianity, spiritual warfare, hermeneutics, evangelism, and Wesleyan theology. Bill is married to Ann from Ocala. When not working as a family nurse practitioner, she is a ministry helpmate who plays the piano and leads singing. They have three children and two grandchildren.
